The checks and balances needed to satisfy Health & Safety Regulations are addressed in the latest DfES guidance in addition to checks within your own school or college system- such as gaining your own head teachers approval for all visits, ensuring parents have full information and provide consent and ensuring that all staff are appropriately qualified - the DfES asks teachers to check details of outside suppliers such as coach operators.
